Here at REM5 Farms, we are committed to producing high-quality pasture-raised, all natural meats that are responsibly and humanely cared for - from our farm to your table. We currently raise Black Angus cattle, Heritage Breed pigs, and Cornish Cross chickens, who graze the green pastures of Washington County, TX getting plenty of sunshine and room to roam.
Our meats are all natural, and free of any hormones, steroids, or antibiotics.
The animals born and raised here truly live their best life due to the quality of daily care they receive. We use regenerative agriculture methods to improve soil health which constantly improves the forage quality for our animals. We do not use harsh fertilizers or chemical treatments on our pastures; we use the animals to fertilize for us! We use rotational grazing methods and move the animals daily to fresh forage, while they deposit nutrient rich manure, which feeds the soil.

We are the Remedios family, Ashley & Barrett raising 3 free-range kids (Brooks-Beau-Harper), along with Black Angus cattle, Cornish-cross chickens, and Heritage breed pigs. We are committed to raising the best tasting, healthiest meat, from our family to yours. We went from having steady big-city jobs, to starting a small-town family farm. It wasn’t an easy move with three kids, but it sure was worth it!

"Ribeye's on the grill were… spectacular! Wow. Incredible flavor with the bone and fat. Literally the best steak I have ever had… and after 32 years in corporate America, I’ve been to too many steak houses to count. THIS is the best ribeye ever. Seriously. And it gets better, because the ground beef might even exceed the ribeye! We’ve made blue cheese and feta cheese burgers with 2 of the 1 lb bags… oh my… about 2-3 min per side turned over a few times on the grill, and they were perfect. The ground beef tastes totally different than what we buy in Publix here in Florida. We got a $100 gift from our kids who live in Houston, and despite being 1,000 miles away in FL, we will ABSOLUTELY purchase again. It’s a luxury that is so worth the it!"
